    Attention – students and faculty! Do you have a SOLUTION for a PROBLEM of NEED out in the world? Would you like to explore how to take your technology and turn it into a real product or service? Join me, Shauna Brummet, BioHio CEO, for the fall National Science Foundation iCorps program. It is held at the University of Akron on Fridays from October 7 through November 18. Our teams travel to Akron for the workshop sessions together. You get $2500 to support your efforts (conferences, prototyping), AND this funding qualifies you as an NSF-funded researcher for other NSF programs that require prior NSF funding. BioHio Research Park

We are an Affiliate of The Ohio State University located on the beautiful campus of OSU’s Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center (OARDC) in Wooster, Ohio. BioHio is in the heart of some of the most productive farm land in Ohio as well as the technologically advanced, culturally vibrant and entrepreneurial north east Ohio.

As part of one of the longest-lived land-grant research and development institutions in the United States OARDC has a long and proud history of successful agbioscience technology transfer to the marketplace. With the launch of BioHio Research Park we look forward to increased opportunities to support companies and organizations bringing new and exciting products and technologies to the marketplace.

BioHio Research Park welcomes start-up companies, growing companies, mature corporate partners (domestic & international), research institutes, and academic and government laboratories. Our business focus on agbioscience technology with emphasis on bioenergy & bioproducts, food production & safety, human and animal health and environmental management & engineering is unique in US research parks

The Board is comprised of influential bioscience leaders from around the state, representing a variety of backgrounds and organizations. This leadership enables BioOhio to grow and achieve its goals for the betterment of its members and the bioscience industry in the state of Ohio.
