  • BioHio Research Park Receives Grant for Master Plan, Selects Consultants for Development

    BioHio has kicked off its Master Planning effort and will hold its Visioning Workshop on November 12 & 13th at OARDC Fisher Auditorium North.  All interested parties are welcome to participate in the workshop held from 9am to 5pm each day.

  • Poultry Vaccine Company Launched

    LARAD, Inc. launched March 15, 2013 focused on poultry vaccine and diagnostics development against the globally occurring poultry disease Infectious Bursal Disease Virus (IBDV). LARAD’s founder is OARDC Professor of Food Animal Health Dr. Daral Jackwood.

We are an Affiliate of The Ohio State University located on the beautiful campus of OSU’s Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center (OARDC) in Wooster, Ohio. BioHio is in the heart of some of the most productive farm land in Ohio as well as the technologically advanced, culturally vibrant and entrepreneurial north east Ohio.

As part of one of the longest-lived land-grant research and development institutions in the United States OARDC has a long and proud history of successful agbioscience technology transfer to the marketplace. With the launch of BioHio Research Park we look forward to increased opportunities to support companies and organizations bringing new and exciting products and technologies to the marketplace.
