BioHio Phase I – Pounden Hall Technology Center

Pounden Hall is a modest sized building of just over 8,000 sq. ft. of useable area.  The building structure, core and mechanical systems have been fully renovated with funding assistance from the U.S. Economic Development Administration.  It has been built-out in stages to provide flexible space – open office and work areas, individual offices and meeting spaces – along with flexible arrangements for use and shared office infrastructure.

It is an incubator-like environment, but is not limited to start-ups.  Pounden Hall is BioHio’s Phase I building focused on providing space for individuals and firms working with OARDC researchers and facilities, or those interested in doing so, and to provide space for start-up activity from within OSU/OARDC.  There is capacity for lab space to be developed.
